# Problem of the Week #21

Thank you for participating the last Problem of the Week. We received quite a few submissions to #20, and the winner is **Brendan Caseria**, who provided the first solution; we would like to mention Russel Hart, Stephen Skapek, and Scott Goodson for providing more or less the same solutions.

After having a Calculus problem in #20, #21 is even more elementary:

# Problem of the Week #18

We received only a partial solution to the last Problem of the Week and it was again by **Randall Moreland**. The next challenge is something of a different flavor:

# Problem of the Week #17

Sorry for the delay in announcing the results of the previous problem. The winner was again **Randall Moreland** (Scott Goodson was the second)!

Our next problem is the following:

# Problem of the Week #15

The Problem of the Week@UTD is back!

Our first challenge to the students this academic year is this:

# Result of Problem of the Week #14

The winner of the last Problem of the Week this academic year was **Luke Bang**!

This concludes the Problem of the Week@UTD in the inaugural year. We hope that this continues for a long time in the future as a tradition in the Department of Mathematical Sciences or the whole University for that matter.

We would like to thank all the participants of the Problem of the Week@UTD this year. We hope that you guys had as much fun as we did. It was a great pleasure for us to receive solutions to many challenging problems, and even better, sometimes solutions to more generalized problems!

We’ll come back in Fall 2016. Stay tuned and have a great summer!
